Poetry sweats in pits,
comes from Stanley Kowalski's
wife beater tee. Uses brute strength
to back you into a corner
far from your genteel fantasies
where the street reeks and the blood
you smell is your desire, Blanche.
Listen, any poem you see in a tower
is a political prisoner plotting revolution,
knotting sheets to make its escape,
shimmying down the smooth, ivory sides.
Poetry is the beast, academia is the zoo.
Poetry just ain't dainty,
struts around twirling its pasties,
wiggling its bare bottom,
provocative and provoking.
Poetry is an exotic dancer,

Actually, every photograph that included a human being, and all my journal entries (before this). The 1800 images are in storage, the journals deleted. It's been very increasingly rare over the past few years that I've had time to share work (old or new), and there are a number of unresolvable tensions between my newer life and career and my old forms of expression. I think this is my way of saying that I really won't be able to share photos any more, new or old (I've left a few shots of animals and nature for now). At some point I will make a quiet and complete exit, but until then:

Mate I've been watching you for quite some time and when I heard the news that you took down a lot of your photos I was quite saddened. I understand completely why you had to take them down though I'm still gonna miss that sincere wonder. Every time I've looked through your gallery I've seen actual charm and a constant reminder of how there is still elegance and beauty in this depraved world. Out of all the galleries I've seen on this site you were one of the few that really knew how to capture the natural essence of humanity. You treated these women with the love and respect that they have earned and it really showed in many of your photos. Some of them really demonstrated pure innocence and wonderment and its a refreshing change to see women that were really comfortable in being themselves. We don't get much of that nowadays since so many feel that they have to look a certain way in order to be considered attractive. Its basically what I've adapted in many of my sketches. I'm completely fed up with this ideal notion of the perfected woman meant to evoke sexual desire and lust. We tend to forget sometimes that these females are beings full of character, full of emotion and personality and you've demonstrated that aspect to absolute perfection. Any way take care and may the guiding stars shine bright on your future endeavors.
